Feathers and Diamonds
So… On top of receiving our feathers, the Lord wanted to bless us even more. David and I celebrated our “first” Christmas together here in Redding before
we left to go home for the holidays. The day we celebrated I had to work till evening while David was home. He was very sad that day because he knew we had a budget and he wasn’t able to get much for me. So He went to the Lord in prayer and just started questioning if he had made the right decisions in coming out to Redding or should he have stayed home and made more money doing something else. The Lord immediately showed him that it wasn’t things material I wanted; it was just his love and being with him that I wanted. When I got home we exchanged gifts and celebrated Jesus!! It was truly the best Christmas I have ever had!! Anyway, as we were going to bed, we pulled back our covers and David spotted a glittery thing in the center. He reached down to grab it and throw it out, but as he held it he realized it was not just glitter or shiny paper, it was a diamond from heaven. The Lord gave us a Christmas gift worth far more than anything we could have given each other. Our hearts were filled suddenly with joy and crazy love for our daddy!! The very next day I was sharing with some friends at school about it and one of the girls said it reminded her of the scripture in Hebrews 13. “The bed of the married should be holy.” And I thought to myself, well kind of but not really, because that verse talks about adultery. But, we looked it up anyway and the very next verse after it said, “Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said,’ I will never leave you nor forsake you.’“ WOW! What a word from the Lord! So basically, God just wanted to remind us that money should not be an issue. He has us in his hands and knows what we need and what we want!! He owns the universe, including
diamonds!!! So, we impart that gift from God to all of you and can’t wait to hear what the Lord gives you!!
The Picture doesn't really do it justice. We will have a video clip of this soon!

The testimony keeps going as we have recieved many more! We have a photo-slideshow you can view online here.
