Scott is an emerging missionary with a heart for revival and a passion for the region of Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Scott received a call to the mission field as a 17 year old high school senior, and God has led him through a seven year period of forming and preparation before opening the door for his deployment on the field.
Scott is a graduate of Bethel School of Ministry in Redding, California, and hopes to be able to transfer the training and impartation he received there and from his home church of Grace Center to many hungry believers in Indonesia.
Starting in the spring of 2010, Scott will begin his first year on the mission field. Scott is a certified ESL instructor, and will be working in the marketplace as an English teacher. He will be serving in partnership with local missionaries who have had an established work in the area for over 12 years. (Specific names and locations have been omitted for security reasons) The focus of their ministry is developing relationships with Muslims and discipling brand-new Muslim background believers, or “mbb’s”. Scott is excited to be a part of the mighty revival that is taking place within the Muslim community. He believes that the key to reaching the Islamic world is the revelation of the loving heart of Father God. Scott also has a passion for the supernatural, and prays that the love of God will be revealed in power everyone he meets in Indonesia. Right now, all over the world, Jesus is revealing himself to Muslims. It is an exciting time to be alive!
